Very surprising

This is a really good movie, I mean come on, it's Tom Hanks! It kinda reminds you of National Treasure (except a lot more graphic and violent). When I first watched it, I tried to pick out who I thought was guilty, not guilty, and things like that, but I was wrong on everyone I chose. The ending is so shocking (I am not going to tell you how it ends) that I had to go back and watch the ending again. I like a good surprise every once in a while and this movie certainly delivered one. I would definitly recommend that you watch this movie.

Worth the $9 I paid.

Bought this movie purely for entertainment purposes, did not expect Oscar-level anything. Still, Ron Howard and Tom Hanks have great track records and I expected some elements of drama and suspense. None in this movie. I am totally gullible and usually fall for every red herring in a book or movie, but I knew, literally, from the first scene who was behind the plot. Stellan Skarsgaard almost managed to single-handedly save the film but with his limited scenes he couldn't quite pull it off. Tom Hanks and Ewan MacGregor did fine acting jobs but really there wasn't much for Tom Hanks do to. "Look! Over there! A church! Let's go there! Look! Another church! Look! A hidden tunnel! Wait! I think someone tried to kill me! Hey! I need that book!" Also, truly great directors can heighten suspense without the use of gore. I was surprised that Ron Howard felt the need to show so much gruesomeness.
So anyway, I really wanted to like this movie a lot. But I only liked it a little. I only paid $9 which is good. It was worth $9, but no more.Lire l'avis complet...

Great drama, excellent acting and cinematography. Good price for this used dvd.

The dvd arrived on time. For a used dvd, it played just fine. Horrific scenes but the acting was superb and engaging story.

Very Nice Movie, very well done! great cast.

This Movie was very well planed out, everything was as Good as the book was. I loved the Part, Tom hanks played, It is definitely one of his best roles, And the part played by Ewan Macgregor was also played very nicely. The movie will keep any fan, readerof the series or non-reader avidly watching, since after all the sense of suspense is alive throughout the whole movie. Another great movie for my collection!

Angels and Demons a perfect name for this movie/book.

I have read the Davinci Code and Angels and Demons. I have both movie versions. I have watched both several times and I will watch them several more times. Forget the religious implications and just enjoy the movies for what they are. The scenery, excitment, suspense and the acting is unforgettable. The movies follow the books almost exactly. Once the action starts it does not stop till the end. You wish it would go on for hours. Before you know it the movie is over and you go through withdrawals for more. I can't wait for the Lost Symbol to come to the movies. I have not read the book yet but plan on it as soon as I get it. These have been my favorite movies of all time. I am Catholic and do see some of the religious implications and maybe he has a point but I enjoyed them as just movies. Thanks Mr. Brown/Mr. Howard for their masterpieces.Lire l'avis complet...

GREAT DVD

I like the DVD it kept me awake even after 3 days of hardly any sleep. This is an very interesting movie. I wanted to see it and I go this great deal . First I thought I waited a to long to get the DVD but it had to travel over 52 hours to my home so I go it in great timing and it was worth the wait. I think this is one of the best I have seen all year. I never laughed as much in avery long time. Sandra really won me over again. Rayn was great not to mention Betty white at her age wow she still has it. I think she should have won an award for this movie.
