Works well for the money..I am ordering a second one..
The Hygrometer works well..It came with instructions to calibrate it to 100%..It was off by about 20% before calibration, so be sure to calibrate it..I also did a 75% calibration just to see if it agreed with the 100% calibration..It didn't...With the !00% cal set , the 75% cal was at 69%.. So i just split the difference and set it at 72%.. It seems to agree with the electronic hygrometer on my dehumidifier so I believe it is a pretty good meter for the money..Lire l'avis complet...

Cheap but works well!
Cheap plastic and needed calibrating when it arrived BUT it has worked well so no complaints there. The only real knock against this hygrometer is the domed face makes it difficult to read with glare from lights but for the price I cannot complain.Lire l'avis complet...

Hygrometer
I use these in my guitar cases. I have paid 30.00 each for digital type hygrometers. I took a chance on these as they had a calibration screw on the back and they were small enough to fit in my guitar cases. After receiving them I checked them using the salt and baggie method and them calibrated them. At this time they seem to be working fine and they are more accurate then any of the digital models I have. I am keeping the humidity correct on some expensive guitars (Martins). Very nice little hygrometer!
These appear to be well-made (made in Germany, no less) analog hygrometers. I bought two and checked them against a known unit; they were right on the money! No frills, just solid performance. small and accurate
I use this item inside my guitar cases. I really like the size and the fact it is adjustable, it is easy to calibrate and as accurate as my very expensive electronic hydrometer. the size is excellent for inside the guitar case, and with very little effort i was able to make a holder for it. Lifesaver for guitar
I purchased this hygrometer to keep in my guitar case so I could monitor the humidity level. This is very important for a guitar so it does not dry out and crack since they are constructed in controlled humidity. I should mention that this instrument is worth several thousand dollars and I want to be certain of it's care. To my surprise, this fine hygrometer is adjustable and setting it is simple and accurate. It is also made in Germany and they have a reputation for quality-made instruments and machines. Small but it does the job.
Company was great to work with. The hygrometer, while small, worked as expected. Adjusting to the correct humidity was easy, and only needs to be done once.

Analog Hygtrometer Humidity Gauge Didn't Work
I put this out in my small utility room. It seems to read at least 15 or more points above the actual humidity, based on comparison with the posted humidity level for my zip code. I would not recommend this, unless you need a decorative bottom ornament for your fish tank.Lire l'avis complet...

Lightweight and compact but inaccurate
I went right by the instructions and calibrated the units. One unit seemed to be fairly accurate but the other unit measured to a certain point and stopped like the hand was stuck.
I put a known accurate digital hygrometer along side these units and neither of these units matched even close to the digital unit.
I did like the compactness of the units fit perfectly in my diy incubater but simply were not accurate measuring humidity.Lire l'avis complet...

totally inaccurate, worthless
I calibrated this so-called hygrometer using the potassium carbonate method (sealed in a ziplock bag with dampened potassium carbonate for 24 hours). It should read exactly 43 when removed but it was reading 65 so I adjusted it to 43. The next morning it read 30 and our other perfectly calibrated hygrometer read 44.
