A story of love and violence long after WWII ended, moving and thrilling.

I had read this book many many years ago. I like it but wanted to read it again. It was a thrilling and suspenseful book the first time I read it. this time around was almost the same, it had been that long ago that I first read it. Good story and a good but sad ending, but with hope for a happy ending some time in the future. I recommend this book to any one who likes a romance novel with death and destruction.
