American Gigolo

I love the original movie the American Gigolo because it is my alter-ego! I love Richard Gere's character in the early 1980's! My, what a time that was......very retro and hip movie for sure. The opening theme song "CALL ME" by Blondie is Fantastic!!

i first seen this movie when i was a kid.it made richard gere a star in my opinion.julian is a gigolo who gets framed for a murder,creates a scnadal with a congressmans wife.he tries to drive around l.a. to get an alibi from some of his connections,but noone will vouch for him.with a detective on his tale,will he find his alibi in time or will he be framed for the murder?Lire l'avis complet...

Richard Gere Rocks!

It was nice to see Richard Gere in his break out role. It was a movie I had been meaning to see when it debuted back in the 1980's but never got around to it. Of course it is dated, but was well made and entertaining. I wasn't disappointed and am glad I now own it.Lire l'avis complet...

This was the first time I saw Richard Gere in a movie.

I loved Richard Gere in this movie,had it on VHS, and over time it faded, now I have a fresh copy, Wow! He looks great.

American Gigolo (2000, DVD)

Excellent movie, keeps you interested throughout. The music is awesome and the actors are very believable in their portrayals. This movie is a keeper to watch time after time.
