Gem of a Collection!

I hesitated to order this as I was unfamiliar with several of the movies; however, I wanted the Criterion release of "The Last Picture Show" so I ordered it. I am so glad I took the chance! Excellent set of 60’s & 70’s movies.

Criterion did a great job with this collection of 7 movies from BBS. The transfers are amazingly good considering the movies age and budgets, Easy Rider,Five Easy Pieces, The Last Picture Show, and King of Marvin Gardens look particularly good, all look better than their previous home video incantations. In addition to the movies the extras are plentiful and well-done. Fan’s of Jack Nicholson and seventies films definitely need this.
