Alexa with clock shows the time, the temperature when asked (says the temperature & shows it), and shows the timers/alarms. She counts them down. I got her for connecting with Sonoff swtiches & ewewlink / Smart link. Everything is compatible. works great im loving it
I bought 3 more for my grand daughters. they work awesome.alexa time 10 min.that easy. alexa radio 103.1 wow so easy. alexa turn volume down to # 4 level .alexa what the weather like today it broadcast the whole day or say alexa whats weather like for next 3 days & see says it. alexa shut dowm or turn off lol sometimes just say stut up it still works.alexa whats the latest news today & she says it.I like it I m just sitting down & dont have to move .I also bought a plug alexa turn light off thats it ligths off ,great in bedroomfor grand kids

The Most Advanced Alarm Clock I've Ever Owned
I purchased this unit to act as a failsafe alarm clock in case my tablet alarm doesn't go off. The only reason I didn't give it five starts is that I believe that it would benefit from a battery backup. In my case, the wall wart is right at the head of my bed just below the top of the mattress, and one time my pillow pushed the wall wart enough to lose power. So, as long as it is powered, it works great, and allows for endless "skills" to be added -- kind of like apps for a phone or tablet. One last note was that I'm glad you can disable touching the top surface for snooze, since in the dark it's nearly impossible to directly press the OFF button.Lire l'avis complet...

A great buy
This Amazon Echo Dot is fantastic! Setup was easy and I think the speaker is better than the previous version.
The one unfortunate thing is that I got the white sandstone color. Every time I go to pick up my echo, I end up having to touch the fabric of the speaker running along the outside. It is impossible not to touch it. I can tell my echo is getting dirty and I'm unsure how to clean it properly.
Still, the echo seems to be very hardy. My little brother has knocked it off the kitchen table a few times and it hasn't broken. I like all the things you can do: set reminders, play games, make a shopping list, get fashion tips, etc. It is really a great buy.Lire l'avis complet...

a good beginning
right away i see ideas where the echo could be improved. amazon needs to add an hdmi output and an rj45 port for wired ethernet,also a usb port,and an infrared port in the front for remote use and an emitter for non bluetooth device intergration. the clock display could do double cuty for status play pause etc. and last,intergrate kodi into the device. a local cache of alexa custom behaviors would be nice. perhaps building this into a better form factor ,such as a dvd player,or as a feature on a motherboard,or perhaps an add in computer card. good work guys.Lire l'avis complet...

Alexa alarm clock
I bought this to my wife as a Christmas's present.ahe used to wake up with an old alarm clock. A horrible way to wake up as first thing in the morning was with mind cracking noise.
Now she has Alexa to wake her up with any sound she likes. She liked my present as now she can turn up light with her voice play any songs of her liking and much more.

Versatile Small Device, With Acceptable Sound
It's pretty cool to have. Especially with a good deal. Now have 2 dots, an echo, an echo plus and a show 5. They work pretty good, the dots, when paired for stereo, are not too bad. Just don't think you'll get amazing sound....well, amazing for its size, somewhat muddy. But acceptable. Strategically placed, it can make life easier for you.
The echo devices are far more than just music speakers. They talk to you, give you information, control all kinds of things, tell you the news, the weather. Pretty amazing. Makes you feel like your living in the space age! (^_^)Lire l'avis complet...
