Great game !

I really like the graphics, they are pre-rendered so they still look good today . The game is a lot of exploring to find keys to open doors looking for ammo and a save medallion and statues to collect. You have to find the save medallion or whatever they call it to save your game . You can choose one of two characters to play each with different starting points in the same story ..l like the game overall I'm sure it was fantastic back when it was new and still good today . The one thing I don't like about it is you control your character with the D pad not the thumb stick . The thumb stick controls your flash light but once you get use to it it's ok overall great game ..Lire l'avis complet...

Resident Evil Clone

I love this game. Anyone that enjoys Resident Evil should buy it if you can get your hands on it. It is better than Carrier for the Dreamcast. There are a lot of creepy moments in this game but the enemies are kind of lame. Stupid zombies and plant life are some of the baddies you'll find throughout, which to me are uninspired. Other than that, while waiting on the next installment of Resident Evil to come out, you can't go wrong with Alone in the Dark. Get it now!Lire l'avis complet...

Very scary while playing Alone in the Dark!

After playing the Xbox 360 demo version of Alone in the Dark I just have to put it on my 'Must get games for the XB360' list. The demo alone convinced me to buy the full game. Yet, did not have a clue that there was an Alone in the Dark version on the previous generations of gaming systems. After finding and watching this game on eBay for about a month or two and reading the reviews of this game on IGN back in 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast, took a chance to buy it with not regrets. Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare will not disappoint.
Its gave RE2 a run for its money. The theme of the game is very similar to RE2, dark, creepy, mysterious,third person shooter. Presentation is very good. Excellent addition to any Dreamcast owner.Lire l'avis complet...

Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare (Dreamcast)

Not for the weak person to play, rated M on purpose, I like it. On of the best Dreamcast Games Released in 2 year of Dreamcast Life. Great Classic.

Great Show of what the Dreamcast Can and Can't Do

Great game atmosphere, really good story. My issue is in the gameplay, the control is really, fairly, bad. If there weren't action sequences, it would be acceptable.
