a must read for every child

I was given Alexander and the Horrible Day as an adult, and appreciated the book and its lessons. I had heard of this book and its lessons for children. I purchased it for my 4 year old who wants everything. He still doesnt grasp all of the connontations but he did understand that if you spend your money its gone. When we go to shop and he wants to spend his one dollar on something foolish I can remind him about Alexander, who used to be rich.
