This is an investment to save you money!
SInce I purchased this I have been able to reduce my electrical consumption. It's so easy to visually see what is using energy and shut off, disconnect, or replace with more energy efficient devices. The meter itself is very well built and extremely easy to install. I monitor it through my alarm system so I can see what's going on at any time. Will not do what you think.
Does not do what I wanted. Too hard to implement with Home Assistant. Was able to connect it but does not work out of the box. Requires days of modifications and math work to get it to work as you would think. Does not sample enough.Lire l'avis complet...

Needs a formal device type handler
held back the 5th star because it didn't have an Aeon Labs custom device type handler for smartthings that provided better summary power usage data and cumulative data reset.

It’s not the “gen5” version, but is fine for learning what you can do with one of these. It was very easy to pair with the SmartThings hub. My purpose for it is to monitor the power load periodically to determine what my generator might power if the need ever arises!Lire l'avis complet...
