i bought this book to use with my daughter as part of her science curriculum this year. It is a fabulous little book. The experiments are simple, using common ingredients/materials I have around the house and they teach basic chemistry concepts that will be useful through college. We use a science dictionary to look up key words and concepts and that will be our science curriculum through Christmas. Pretty great!
I highly recommend this book, even if you just want something fun and educational to do with your child and aren't homeschooling as we are.Lire l'avis complet...
Very Kewl!
This book is so fun! Most of the experiments are things that I always have in the house, I didn't have trouble finding anything in the books at the store, either. The experiments are very simple and clearly written, the results are easy to discern, and we had alot of fun doing them. My 7 year old knows more about chemistry now than I (or anyone else I know) knew graduating from High School! AWESOME!!!Lire l'avis complet...

A wonderfully fun book to get children excited about chemistry! My third grader LOVES the experiments, as well as writing down the observations. Very simple for younger children to understand and possibly read on their own (a little help may be required).Lire l'avis complet...
