A starter book to make Bear & Doll furniture Acessories

Are you creatively challenged, but want to save money enhancing your collection of bears and dolls with furniture and accessories? Or, are you crafty but want to explore a new avenue to take with your skills? Then this book is for you. Don't look for just basic patterns to use to cut out thin balsa or plywood to make a house full of your own doll furniture. Rather, this book is a mixture of a few basic patterns for building furniture from scratch to directions for making pieces from recycled items used in the typical home. Next, comes pictures of samples and lists of ways to turn each piece into a uniquely individual and highly creative decorative piece of furniture or home furnishing for you favorite little doll or bear. The author gives directions for tools and glue to use for the beginning crafter or experienced tween to get started. Use of electrical saws and drills really aren't needed - hence a high level of safety is involved in the process. If you already sew and have bits and pieces of lace and ribbon collected in a box, a collection of buttons, then you are set to go. Or, maybe you can use those leftovers from Mom's closet or find them at the local rummage sale. You might even find things outgrown in your child's closet as small print or small, thin stripes materials are most suited to use to cover cushions or make beddin items due to their small scale design. Last, I see this as a good book to use for ideas to make a few items for you or your child or a great jumping off for the person who wants to make items for their local craft emporium, community craft show or church bazaar.Lire l'avis complet...
