Perfect Upgrade for my 2008 Mac Pro (3,1)

Amazing upgrade for my 2008 Quad Core Mac Pro series 3,1 running OS 10.11. Benchmarks 3-5 times faster across the board compared to the original stock Radeon 2600 XT. Be sure to get a real Mac ROM card like I did so that you can still do option boot and emergency recovery.

No extra software to install - it simply works. Physical install was a bit of a challenge. The card takes up every millimeter of the space allotted to it. My card did not come with the mandatory power cable. Couldn’t find this rare 6 pin to mini 6 pin PCIe power cable anywhere locally. Multiple sources on eBay and elsewhere though.
