Great phone if lighting is good. Compact, high quality,but not backlight.

This is a great little phone. (i.e. audio quality, features, high quality weight/very well made and compact size.) The only issue I have with it is there is no back-light. This makes it very difficult to read ID on incomming calls and missed calls or view number dialed on screen.

I purchased this pkone to replace one that had stopped working.

Overall I am happy with this phone for any area that has good lighting, but may purchase a different style to use where this one was purchased to service.Lire l'avis complet...

Works fine but just few choices.

Phone works as predicted, but there are very few choices for a "landline" wall phone. I replaced the exact type of phone with this purchase. Be watchful of the batteries it requires and check them often. If the batteries leak, then your phone is no good, that's what happened to mine. If you use one phone you can probably use another.

(1) It would be better it caller ID was illuminated/lighted.
(2) Disappointed that the ringer volume does no allow one to shut the ringer off. It only has has lo/med/hi but no off. The lo is not that low at all.Lire l'avis complet...

Not completely what I wanted

We wanted corded phones that would have a caller ID so we do not have to answer the phone when we do not know who is calling. These phones do that but the display on the handset does not light up making it incredibly difficult to see the number that is calling. You almost have to tip it to the light to see the display even when set for the most contrast. For the one we have on the wall in not well lit location we cannot see it so it is useless. Ok back up phone

I still use a landline and talk for hours with my bffs. To avoid battery drainage, I use this phone. The numbers on the number pad are quite low and easy to miss in a hurry. For the price I couldn't expect more.Lire l'avis complet...

I would buy this phone again

This was a replacement phone for the one I had which finally wouldn't work after 15 years. I wanted a basic phone that was attractive, had a small footprint, & some simple features. This fit the bill for its not easy to find a plain hard wired phone anymore. I needed it for when I lose electricity as cordless phones don't work when you lose electricity, & I live in a fringe cell phone area so its not reliable if you have an emergency. An excellent handy-sized corded phone that works well.

I love this Trimline Corded Phone because it is easy to use, the instructions for set up and use are understandable. It has just enough "bells & whistles" to make it modern, but not so many that you have to have a degree in engineering to figure out what in the world it's talking about in the instructions. Trimline with Caller ID

Nice extra phone

Overall this is a nice second phone for your house. The display and features are very hard to read. Great for an extra bedroom or utility room.

only two flaws, 1. no plastic cover to keep numbers from getting dirty and 2. no light on caller ID screen to see who's calling..
