Anri by Philly Rains & Donald Bull
For me finding out there was a company name to the people who made those funny little corks, wooden statues, and desk items I had around the house while growing up utterly surprized me. This 272 page book filled with wonderful examples of Anri is a must have for any collector. It tells of the history of Anton Riffeser and how he got started in woodcarving. This book also gives details of what is not Anri, prices for your collection, dating your piece and other valuable information that I found priceless. I think the authors did an outstanding job on this book and I have it as a reference book by my desk. I even made money by having this book since I identified an Anri piece I would not have been able to otherwise.

Why I love the Anri book
I have been collecting Anri for about 8 years. I bought my first piece in the 1970's and got a bottle cork from my father when he passed away in 1989. I started looking for more pieces around 1999, and I now have over 200 pieces. I bought this book to study pieces that I don't have and to compare prices with what I have paid. The book is expertly illustrated and should have been in my library years ago.Lire l'avis complet...
