bought this for my poor Dell Inspiron 1501 the Sempron CPU was worn out so I've replaced it with this CPU
and it the Dell feels like new!
the CPU arrived in perfect condition (it looked like new) no signs of wear just perfectly new right out of the box.
it arrived after about 2 weeks which is a lot faster than I am used to the normal 4~6 weeks of waiting.

A great chipset!

A huge performance upgrade for only 5 dollar
I bought this processor to upgrade an old laptop Vostro 1000 (Sempron 3500+) I want to use for my arduino projects.
The performance of this dual core processor is about 40% better than the sempron 3500+.
Besides that the laptop works now very smoothly and can handle (due to his 2 cores) multiple simultaneous tasks. It is a real improvement on this point.
I paid about 5 dollar for this processor (in good condition) what is really cheap.
Before you put this processor in your laptop look on youtube to get some video assistance.
It takes about 1 hour to replace the old processor with this one.

AMD Turion TL-60
A little difficult to install. Its such a small space to work inside of. But, it works great and my computer works 4 times as fast. That is remarkable. Acer 5517
My aspire 5517 was running hot , so I opened it up to apply new heat paste and clean the vents. I figured I might as well upgrade the cpu. After some research I found other aspire 5517 users had upgraded to this cpu.

Great processor arrived fast with bonus thermal paste. The best small amount of $ ever spent.
The average performance of the new AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 processor is estimated from benchmark results as 140% faster when running multi-threaded tasks compared with the AMD Athlon 64 TF-20, using the same Socket S1 (S1g1). This processor is a great entry into multi-core processors.
This processor is common and thus inexpensive. I was given a broken inspiron 1501. I replaced the hard drive and keyboard for 40 bucks. I noticed that inspiron 1501 can take a dual turion, so I swapped it out. This is a great upgrade for anyone with an inspiron. It took me about 30 minutes to change out the processor. Laptop renewed!
Even with max RAM and an SSD drive, our old Dell Inspiron 1501 was lethargic running Windows 10 Pro. But a dual-core CPU upgrade GREATLY improved its perceived performance.
Replacement came well packaged, and even with a packet of heat-sink grease. As usual, opening up the case was very tedious; and of course everything was done carefully in a static free manner.

A must for a boost in performance for S1 Socket Notebooks! 110% recomended
This processor is an excellent upgrade for all notebooks having Sempron processors installed in the S1 Socket. In addition from being a dual-core processor, this AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 is a boost in performance in your day to day tasks.
As a computers technician I recomend this processor for an upgrade, as it's a low cost processor with huge advantages in comparison with single-core processors.
I've intalled and tested several TL-60 processors in different notebooks and the performance and compatibility are awesome.
