Great deal, the argument about these against the x4 priced Sennheiser HD800s is still raging on HeadFi.

The sound is very well balanced, the comment on lack of bass by some reflects AKGs philosophy as a microphone and movie equipment manufacturer, meaning a good balance of all three tonal ranges.

The open ear design, suspension, and large soft muffs create a great experience.

Paired with my android UAPP iFi-xDSD they sound amazing.

WOW unbelievable sound

I'm so glad that I did my research and decided to pay a bit more for this premium brand of headsets. Not only were the reviews about their ultimate comfort true but I was amazed at the sound. I have one of the top of the line Sony 7.1 Dolby THX surround sound receivers and certainly didn't think headsets would solve the problem of my house mates privacy without comprimising sound quality...boy was I wrong. Not only were they comfortable to wear for 2/3 hour movies but with the full ear cups it gave me the surround sound feeling with perfect deep bass as well as beautiful treble. If you're not prepared to spend over a $1,000 for what some say are the best on the planet (of which I've never tried) I highly recomend these and find it hard to believe it's possble to make a better sound regardless of how much you spend.Lire l'avis complet...

I'm using these as my cans and they are detailed and comfortable to use-
Already detected distortion that I could hear in my hs5's or focal alphas-which are both great, but I think these are filling in some gaps from a monitoring perspective-obviously great for getting stereo balanceLire l'avis complet...

K702 Headphones

I bought a pair 2 years ago. I blew the voice coils out from extensive use. I'll have that pair re-coned. These phone are AMAZING. I record professionally so I require only the best products I can find. So, at the price these were being offered at, it was a no brainer for me to purchase another pair! Delivery was super fast. Professional Neutral Sound

Very nice phones

Very good sound quality and very comfortable. Had to glue on the R on the right ear can because it was floating around in the bag upon arrival. So a little quality issue but not a big problem.

Excellent product by AKG...

It is an excellent, go-to headphones.. But, for all those who do not know, this is an open design, hence if you are looking for deep bass, you wont be satisfied.
