The English Breakfast Murder by Laura Childs

The reason I bought this book is twofold, I enjoy a good mystery and because I am English I was raised and love hot tea.
The title caught my eye, the storyline was quite intriguing and it kept my attention until the end. There are also great receipes and entertaining ideas at the back of the book.
Since reading this book I have visited my local library to search out more from this author. I plan to buy all of her books in The Tea Shop Mystery series.
I give this author two thumbs up and the highest rating possible.

Charleston Murder Mystery

When our heroine, Theodosia Browning decides to help out with the turtle-hatching project on a Charleston beach, she spots something in the water, definitely not a turtle, but a dead body! The body turns out to be that of Harper Fisk, a local art dealer, who's hobby is looking for any treasure from the many sunken ships off the harbor coast. In her process of investigation, Theo finds that Harper was part of a group of men who called themselves The English Breakfast Club. Theo finds that most of the members have motives to murdering Harper. Now, which one, if any?

Just plain good story telling. Good escape whodunit. Being an avid tea drinker I love all the references and explanations of teablends. Every lady would like to be Theodosia and own a lovely tea shop. Staffed with wonderful friends....and solve mysteries on the side. I recommend all the Laura Childs tea shop mysteries. If you want a who dunit that really keeps you guessing Laura Childs books are the ones to read. I love the tea shop and all the characters. I put one book down and can't wait to read the next in the series. You just get totally caught up in the very busy business and almost feel as though you are a guest at the tea shop. As per her other Tea House Mysteries, this book is great, fast reading. Story line is neat and clean with an unexpected ending. i thoroughly enjoyed it.
