It's a great resource for teachers.

I'm retired now, but I taught math for 45 years and was interested in this book. Lots of good ideas and examples.

All that, but no mathlab.

The book was exactly what I needed, because all other offers were for teacher's additions. However, my instructor insists that I need Mathlab that goes with the new addition. I wasn't told about that until after I purchased a used book. Now I can't get a used Mathlab software because it has to be unused, and from this area code. The clincher is that If I buy the Mathlab seperately, convienently sold at the college bookstore, It will cost me more than if I had just purchased the book new. Aaaargh!Lire l'avis complet...

I bought this book for my Number Systems and Geometry class. It is a pretty good book just weighes a lot with three other books. This book explains everything you are supposed to learn from it.

Good Book (Ogir)

The book itself is very good, it has a lot of visuals as well as explains how to solve problems. I decided to buy the book because it was a requirement for my Mathematics course.

It works! I use the strategies daily in the classroom and preparing lessons. Best math text I've seen.

I decided to buy this book because it was the required text for my math course. There is alot of reading in the book which I don't like as much as other math books.
