Escaping into fictional lives to experience lovely relationships!

I am on the road a lot picking up my grandson after school (20 min. trip for me), running errands, going to store, etc. I enjoy listening to audiobooks (CDs) on my many trips. I have a battery-operated walkman w/earbuds. It is so interesting to get involved in a Debbie Macomber community! I love all of her stories involving some romantic involvements of neighbors, sisters, friends, etc. I am so sad to finish a book, but realize there's always another delicious one to "read". Hannah's List was exceptional! It is a story about a married couple in which the woman dies of cancer, but leaves a letter with her brother to be read on the 1st anniversary of her death. She leaves a list of women that she thinks would make a good wife for him, or at least, she would like for him to meet. It's so wonderful to hear all his experiences and the feelings he goes through during his journey. Anyone would love this audiobook and the author's wonderful ability to paint a word-picture dealing with interesting people!!Lire l'avis complet...

I loved that this story felt like it belonged to me...like I was part of the family! I bought the book because Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors!
