Newest addition to a set of incredible albums
Damien Rice is an all-time favorite, his songs are dripping with emotion that most people can relate with. I bought this album so I'd be able to know all of the songs in time for his live concert I was going to attend. I love that it has a few upbeat/ happy songs, which is different from his last album "O". I don't like the profanity though, which is prevalent in one song. Overall it's still an amazing cd, I just skip the one song and I'm good to go.Lire l'avis complet...
Good quality, But very Niche
The sound quality on this CD is excellent, however I found my self trying to find some sort of relation between tracks. This I suppose is not the style of Damien Rice. Amazing Album
Damien Rice is amazing. This album is great and 0 is also wonderful. It will ruin music for you though. Nothing will ever match Damiens superb ability to touch our soul.
Damien Rice CD
I loooove this CD. I listen to it at least every other day. He really doesn't hold anything back and his songs are so raw. The lyrics are great and his voice is awesome. I like to just listen to this CD while doing nothing else. I really recommend buying it.Lire l'avis complet...

Second albums are a bitch...
For everybody, and for Damien it was going to be a real challenge, to get even remotly close to his first. Which is a masterpiece. I havn't listened to 9 nearly enough to really comment, but I will say this. It is a damned shame that they don't put it out on vinyl.Lire l'avis complet...

So-So cd
I, personally wasn't to impressed with this CD. None of the songs were terriffic (the opposite of his masterpiece O) and it just didn't capture me like his last release. For me, there were no tracks that were excellent or worth mentioning. Go with O instead!Lire l'avis complet...

Solid
I actually got to Damien Rice from the band Bell X1, who are a band comprised of Rice's former bandmates. The CD is solid, with a few enjoyable songs and nothing special beyond that.
