Great idea. Super bright. Fun gift for a tech guru.
These USB LED sticks are neat! I bought some cheap right angle usb adapters(from the same seller) to make the most use of them and help protect the ports on my devices(mainly power banks/stations). The combo works great! Should make fun stocking stuffers for Christmas.
In regards to the naysayers: take their warnings with a grain of salt. I've tested these in several devices in my house without issue. They are a little thicker than normal usb, so that's why I ordered the right angle usb adapters to help protect the ports on my devices. Just make sure you buy the proper adapters, so these lights point the way you want them. Also, if you opt to buy some cheap usb adapters, like I did, then you don't really need to worry about the heat, because the adapter insulates your device from the lights. Also, the adapters make it easy to remove them from whatever device you've plugged them into. Good quality but...
They take 1watt on start. For most usb ports it causes port to fail as most laptops cap at 500mw.
Suggestion start at 500 pr cap at 500mw to not cause damage.
These also heat up way too much at max settings which are the startup settings.
Touch is nice but it would be much faster to do 3 levels instead tap and holdLire l'avis complet...
