Does Not Work

It was a gamble just to try it, but ultimately it does not work. The theory is that is can split an ADAT signal into two paths. I was using it to try to duplicate a clock-sync signal into two paths. Couldn't even do that. Upon inspection, I know the reason it does not work: internal refraction due to the poor fiber optics(?) inside is causing a double signal but at half the intensity of the originating source. Incoming ADAT "red light" is solid and bright. Plug it into the splitter, and the "red dots" in each output port are doubled, as in "double-vision" but half the size and about half as bright. Coupler and Splitter

It can either couple two device into one (one on at any given time), or split one device to two (simultaneously).

I did have a problem when trying to couple both an Xbox 360 and Xbox One into one device input (on a headset mixamp). The One wouldn't put out sound thru the coupler, but the 360 would. I did some troubleshooting to determine what was at fault, and rules out this splitter as the culprit. It's either that the One didnt put out a string enough signal to make it through the coupler, or the cable was somehow damaged or at fault. The One did work when ran directly to the device, just not when ran thru this splitter. But I tried other devices and they did work, so was able to rule out the splitter as the cause.Lire l'avis complet...

not worth it

Its cheaply made and it kept losing connection with one of the split cables. spend a little more and find better splitter

OPTICAL SPLITTER

Easy to use and install. As long as both input devices are not on at the same time, it works great and there is no power cord.

Hard to use?

Not if you have the grip and push power of King Kong it ain't. But I think his fingers are too big for the job. Might want to check on that. JD

I have nev er wrote a review before today. This product worked less than a week!) Please avoid totally of this piece of electronic crap!

Doesn't work

Didn't work. I bought it, hooked it up to my optical cable, and one side split, but the other wasn't bright enough to work. So yeah, it's trash.
