1634: The Ram Rebellion - more short story than novel
Having been a devoted follower of Mr. Eric Flint, I was truly disappointed for the first time by one of his works. This grouping of short stories centers around the 1632 alternate history framework but has little else in common with the previously riveting works. The ending is quite satisfactory but the path that leads you there is seriously flawed. It appears that adding storylines has become a higher priority than the quality of the tale. I trust the upcoming novels will return to previously high standards. This one can be skipped without missing much from the continuing alternate universe timeline. I wonder if I should have sold mine before writing this review?Lire l'avis complet...
1634: The Ram Rebellion
The beginning of the book is very disjointed and not well connected to previous books in the sequel. Several different authors, almost like student's writing for a class with a given subject. It gets better toward the end when Eric Flint takes over. Not well doneLire l'avis complet...
