I can run in July now!
I live in michigan and deer fly season is awful for runners. I used this for the first time this year and it totally changed my running for the month of July. On a typical 4-8 mile run I catch about 20-30 of these on my hat now ... but rarely get bit. My only complaint (and compared to the upside it's really not a big deal) is that it leaves a bit of residue on my hat, which doesn't wash off easily.Lire l'avis complet...

Great but be aware of a couple things
This actually works really well. Be careful of your placement of it, as it needs to be near the top of your hat since the flies prefer landing on the highest point. Also, be VERY careful of your hair, if you're a girl. Actually, be careful of everything! I get that thing stuck to something on a daily basis - usually the "something" is me! No matter how careful I am, there is always something to rip it off of. (The strip stays on the hat til "full" or no longer sticky so use a hat you don't mind giving up to the fly army.)
Another thing I knew, but didn't think about was that it doesn't kill the flies, just traps them there...in glue...while they try to fly away and beat their little wings....sometimes for hours, to the point where you can't figure out what that weird sound is or where it's coming from until you track it to the still-alive fly on your hat. There's also something about that which makes me feel guilty even though I know if given a chance it would suck all my blood out.
Anyway, all in all it does exactly what it says. Makes for a more pleasant walk through the woods. I would definitely recommend itLire l'avis complet...

I’ve used these deerfly tapes before. They work really well. My record is about 38 flies during one round of golf.

this is a passive product and it HAS TO BE an active product.
If the yellow deer flies hit the right spot this patch might catch one or two. There has to be an attractive solution to bring the flies to the patch instead of luck.

Too good to be true for me!
I used the patches as the instructions noted and did not catch one deer fly. They did not seem to be attached to the patch and were still biting me. I live in Georgia and I notice a bad review in Florida maybe they do not work well in the south. Seems like the good reviews and videos are in the north.Lire l'avis complet...

Out dated product
I’ve ordered this product for years. Always been good. This time it is very hard to peel the backing off. The product has been on the shelf too long.
