Avis sur le produit...Ya Know? by Ramone, Joey (CD, 2012)

Great album from a great singer, and totally enjoyable.

First off I must admit that I am a BIG Ramones and especially Joey Ramone fan. That being said I was very suprised that this c.d. came out. I thought his first solo effort was going to be it, but it wasn't. To be honest I thought the first solo album was a little more rocky and upbeat that this one, but I still enjoy them both a lot. There are a few tunes on this one that are, as my wife put it, a little sappy. But that was Joey, and real romantic at heart, and it shows on this disc very well. With all the other people on this c.d. you will not be disapointed at all, as they all do a great job with the mixing and final product. I have all the Ramones albums, as well as all their solo efforts since the band retired, and I would have to place this one in the middle of the pack somewhere, as I have heard better, but also some much worse. All in all I would tell anyone who asks to go ahead and buy it, as I don't believe there will be any more music comming out of the Ramones camp. But, I was wrong this time, so who knows. Either way it is great to hear his voice once again, even if it brings a tear to my eye and puts a lump in the throat. Long live the Ramones. Gabba gabba, HEY!Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent album all the way through.

I've always been a fan of the Ramones since I saw the movie Rock N Roll High School when I was
a kid , I'm glad that most of the members of the Ramones had solo careers after the Ramones,
This album by Joey is probably his very best performance as a singer he sounds so much more
better and mature as a singer than ever on this album ya know, it's too bad that it never got
released until after he passed away, I think this would have been his most successful project

The AWESOME album "Ya Know"

This album is great!!! Joey sounds so good! I listen to "Ya Know" at least twice a day. The songs have so much meaning in them. Thank you for getting it out too me so quickly!
