I'm impressed. Best steering and handling improvement I've found.
I just got to drive my 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 diesel truck after installing this stabilizer bar, and I'm impressed. I've owned my truck for 19 years,and the steering has never been so precise. This is the best single steering and handling improvement I've found in all the years I;ve owned this truck. If you own a second generation Dodge Ram truck, you need this product. You can spend more on other steering stabilizer bars, but I don't think you'll find more bang for your buck. Gear box stabilizer $47
This thing is fantastic. My truck drives better then it ever did. I did do a new gear box, power steering pump, front end, control arms (both upper and lower) it's easy to install. People are saying the bolt holes dont line up. THEY DO theres a trick to it. Put the bearing on that goes over your gear box LAST, then it will bolt right up. 5 stars for this. GREAT VALUE BUT NOT WITHOUT ISSUES
Fantastic price, but took "Massaging" to make it fit properly. Shipping package not damaged and paint on unit showed no signs of bad handling. however the mounting tab closest to the bearing plate was severely bent. Had to straighten in a hydraulic press. Then when trying to mount, you could either get the bolts in the frame, OR line up to the steering shaft. Wound up elongating the bolt slots on the end furthest from the bearing plate to get everything aligned. Once done, it fit and works perfectly.
The bottom line is it's a great deal IF you have the tools to "MASSAGE" the fit. It would never have worked as is. For the difference between $40 and $200, I can do a little tweaking.Lire l'avis complet...

Gear box support
Cannot beat the price, installation was easy, basic tools, if this should ever break... cant see how it would, i would deffinately buy another or recommend to a friend. Did not "FEEL" a difference, good knkwing when a new box goes in that it will be secire and supported.Lire l'avis complet...

steering gear box stabilizer
This stabilizer kit has everything you need to install it and goes on in under an hour. The only issue I have with it is the tolerance between the new pitman shaft nut and the bearing hole that it fits in. The instructions say you may have to assist installation with a soft hammer. Mine literally fell on with a small gap between the two which is tightened with two small screws which then binds the two together so they spin as one. I gave it 4 stars because I personally feel the bearing should fit on the new shaft nut snugly then you probably wouldn't need the screws at all. This kit stops the flex between the frame rails and the steering box thus eliminating the failure of the lower steering box bearing which it would do without the screws and a better fit in the aforementioned area.Lire l'avis complet...

Very well built.
Plan on breaking a bolt head off if you have never removed the sway bar bushings. That's a pain to fix but this product looks great.

Perfect fit
Only took about 20 minutes to install. Cured the "drunk driving" feel of my steering. Piece of cake to install. Truck handles like new. Heavy duty and good quality part and hardware.
