Adequate, maybe. A bargain can be costly.

Well, you don’t get what you don’t pay for. The finish is nice and the pads seem to be adhered well. It looks nice enough cosmetically but the pivots are very sloppy. I had to add extra spacers and bushings to get the pedal pivot to stop wobbling, and the main pivot is shamefully loose. With the modern CNC gear that was used to make this, it could easily have been designed much more precisely. You’d think it wouldn’t be so hard to make a plastic bushing that actually fits the spindle that’s supposed to go through it, but there’s excessive play. What’s more, the splined ends that the arms mount to are loose. This should really be a press fit but the notches barely grab the splines. I had to fill the gap with epoxy to get it to feel solid. Also note: the arms are thicker than the cable yoke for most universal cable kits so be prepared to mill the link end thinner. ‘Universal fit’ generally means ‘fits nothing’, so I expect to do a lot of custom adaptations, but having to modify the product just to get it functional? This is very disappointing. If you’re handy and resourceful you might be able to use this effectively. If you want a simple install out of the box, keep looking. I’m not sure if there are better options for this price but Anyone else looking at this should shop around more, rather than go for whatever looks like a bargain.Lire l'avis complet...
