Does the job, I guess
The cable itself works fine. However the plastic that encloses the wires is flimsy - I noticed this as soon as I got the cable, compared to my previous cable. I use the cable with a laptop so it gets some movement. It shortly ripped near the end of the cable so I have a portion of exposed wires. Also, the notch that snaps the cable into its port gave in after a few plugging in and out of the port - as good as not being there. If the laptop moves with a gentle tug to the cable it has a tendency to fall out off the port.
Cable should work fine if you're not moving it around or plugging/unplugging it.

Probably should have bought a cat6 instead
Cable was brand new and received in good order. However, it would not carry a gb-speed signal from my switch to my desk top PC. I tested it out with a spared cable that had a broken clip, and the signal connected at 1gb speed. However, this new cable only shows up a signal speed of 100mb once connected. Either the cable is not rated for that speed, or the shielding was not sufficient to provide that signal strength through out.Lire l'avis complet...

Not America made cable. Very low shield protection but can be use in case of emergency.
