Great product as advertised and fast shipping.

Great replacement with a “hopefully” minor issue
Admittedly I am a diy-er. That being aaid I have been doing things myself on cars for over 30 years. While I truly appreciate these replacements being more substantial that extra size at the pivot mount gave me pause. The originals have a two piece bushing that clips together from both sides of the bolt hole that you need to reuse for the new cylinders. The new cylinders are not only larger cylinders but the size of the pivot mount is also larger. So much so that the original two piece bushing will not properly reassemble due to the increased width. I ended up making it work by adding the bushing just before placing it into its location and allowing the bolt to hold it into place. This looks as though it will be “good enough” but I would think supplying new and properly sized bushings might be the right move. Otherwise things installed fairly easily while using my shop manual for a few tips. Lire l'avis complet...

So far so good. Too early to tell.
The cylinders were installed about two weeks ago.. Since then I have only lowered the top a couple of times. However, all seems well. The mechanic noted that the cylinders are slightly larger than OEM but had no problem in installing them. The OEM lasted for 20 years. I hope this set lasts as long.Lire l'avis complet...

Quality, Warranty & my time are worth the price!
These American made cylinders are “beefier” than any Chinese replacements yet fit perfectly with no modifications necessary. Once installed they have performed very well. The 7 year warranty gives me the satisfaction that they will perform well and that I should not have to do this repair again for a very long time.
