Good Printer Bad Wireless

The printer itself is great. Printing quality is just as good as paying someone else to do it. However, I always have to plug my laptop up to the printer as the wireless does not work as well as portrayed. I bought this printer specifically for the wireless printing but I have yet to get this to work properly. I have tried all suggestions to make this work better and nothing has worked. Maybe you will have better luck!Lire l'avis complet...

Kodak outperforms Canon in ink cost, reliability, and features.

I replaced a Canon inkjet printer MG6420 which was I believe the cheapest built piece of excrement ever assembled. This Kodak printer is sooo much better. It has a paper tray, a secondary feed, the ink costs less than half what Canon charges, the quality is outstanding, and I don't have to walk over to it and pull down the door every time I want to print to it. The Canon I had was a warranty replacement for a printer I bought about a year earlier. It was however the worst printer I ever saw. Canon refused to replace my printer with the same model, and instead sent me a piece of garbage. I love this Kodak printer and will NEVER again buy anything with the name Canon on it. Do yourself a favor stay away from Canon desktop inkjet printers the first went bad the second was so poorly built I doubt it would have lasted a month. Buy Kodak and save money, and get outstanding quality.Lire l'avis complet...

Absolutely the WORST printer I have ever owned !!!

Horrible printer! Don't waste your money on this piece of crap from a company that has filed for bankruptcy and will likely disappear.

Multiple problems:

(1) I cannot get more than 10 copies to print before the ink cartridge is drained! Kodak says it's the print heads: They have sent me two sets of print heads and I still cannot print more than 10 copies of an ordinary document on plain paper before the ink is completely gone!

(2) Wireless connectivity problems abound. After I have had the printer on for more than 30 minutes, it drops its connection with my wireless network. If I want to print something, I have to turn the printer off and on again and then reboot my PC. Yes, I have all the firmware and software updates installed.

(3) I have a Samsung wireless laser printer and I have ZERO problems with my Samsung.

(4) I bought an HP 8600 Office Pro to replace this Kodak piece-of-crap and it runs perfectly as well. And the printed cost-per-page is LOWER with the HP 8600 than it is with the Kodak so don't believe Kodak's spiel about their "low printing cost:" It is a lie.

Kodak 7250 printer review; problems

First, having been calling their help line almost every day since received, and getting longer & longer wait-times, or more recently continually hung up on - I contacted Kodak tech-service. While the technician took-over operation of my PC he informed me that it was not their printer mal-functioning, but the fault of my PC and for $39.95 he could correct all those faults! The only reason I purchased the unit was to save on ink costs over my Canon 2600, which I am able to print directly from every sector of my PC with effortlessly. I've switched back! I believe Kodak is a "rip-off", besides its seeming in-ability to print almost everything I tried... and a company asking for money to fix a computer to work with their system is a disgrace to the fine old Kodak name. Admittedly, had it functioned I would have invested only the price of two sets of Cannon ink in this unit, but I paid $100 less for the Canon printer and it works!Lire l'avis complet...

The best home use Printer,Scanner,Copier.

I bought this 7250 Kodak for my Sister-in-Law, I have the older 5300. We both like the ink prices, and being able to print photo's,copy, scan to card without the computer,I highly recommend these printers to anyone that is buying a printer, why buy a 25 dollar printer and pay 50 to 75 dollars for ink when you can get a Kodak new with a full tank of ink for a few dollars more and fill it again for under 30 dollars.I had a L-----k 12-- printer, scanner paid $28 no ink,and put $47 for a 1/2 tank each ink cartridge, had to keep computer on to use it(my computer stays on only (1) 24hr period per week for updates). We both like the wireless capability of the 7250,the different size photo paper it can use. If my old 5300 ever dies I will definately get a Kodak printer to replace it.Lire l'avis complet...

MOST ECONOMICAL, MOST DEPENDABLE PRINTERS ON THE MARKET TODAY

I bought 2 of the 7250's, 2-5250's, and a 3150. I have never
had a problem with any of the 5 and all 5 are still in
operation. Bought the 3150 first and got such good service
out of it and that's why I bought the others. I love the ease
of having my desktop computer wired to one of the 5250's in my
office and use my laptop in my living room while watching tv and can wirelessly print with that same printer from my laptop. I have heard some people talk bad about them but if you are not patient and mildly computer minded, I could see how you would have problems. I AM COMPUTER STUPID AND I HOOKED ALL 5 OF THEM UP AND 4 OF THEM WIRELESSLY AND ONE OF THOSE HAS A USB CABLE FOR MY DESKTOP AND I USE THE SAME PRINTER WIRELESSLY WITH MY LAPTOP.

Lost without my Kodak ESP 7250 & Saved through eBay's search for a new one!

I owned this type of Kodak printer for 3 years and would say I abused my original Kodak 7250 greatly with the amount of newsletters I write for our subdivision as well as the photo's I print out (of my family & friends). I have 14 photo albums personally and create a (300 picture) photo album for each grandchild(8) as they graduate from high school. My last printer "died" and I was desperate to locate one just like it - I finally found it on eBay and at a great price! It was reconditioned and has worked perfectly since the day it came in the mail. I currently have printed out family photos (enlarged) for a wall in my bedroom and they look just like a professional photographer did them. When my original printer stopped working, I bought another brand - but found the print ink cartridges were too expensive for my hobby. So I took it back and started searching for another Kodak ESP 7250. Thank good ness I found one on eBay!Lire l'avis complet...

an excellent printer, cheaper ink, nice paper trays. a little bit louder

the paper and photo trays are pretty handy because you dont have to load or change paper much. it prints pretty good without smears. the only negetive thing i can say is that when the printer goes into standby mode the printer wont print until you press a button and clear the error message on your pc saying that the printer is off. i like the standby mode its just that it isn't super smooth. also because you do have paper trays the printer is louder to start up than most but this isn't an issue with me. also because it has two paper trays it does take up desk space but it looks neater to not have a stack of paper sticking up in the airLire l'avis complet...

Kodak ESP 7250 Printer extraordinaire

I really can't find anything wrong with this printer. I use it at home and it is just right for me. The speed is fast enough and really, I don't need it any faster and being able to print photos directly from my iphone is just beautiful. Another great feature is being able to purchase ink at a reasonable price. I would recommend this printer to any oneLire l'avis complet...

A reliable machine, at a good price, that works well with my MacBook.

Score! Much better than my previous printer which caused me pain and frustration. I had bad luck with my HP All-in-one and was constantly hounded to update my computer even though it, my previous HP printer, didn't function when I needed it to. I have a functional home office now and didn't have to spend much. Kodak seems more user friendly and works well for the basic functions I need: copying documents, printing out maps from the internet, etc. I am pleased that I haven't had to struggle with it so far and think that Kodak offers a very straight forward printer without a lot of unnecessary complexities.Lire l'avis complet...
