If you liked Origins you like Awakening

If you liked Dragon Dge: Origins, you will also like Awakening. Carry your hero over from Origins or make a new one. Two new Specializations for each class, more abilities for individual classes, and three new skills. About 20hours of play time, its not long but its only an expansion pack for the previous game. New areas to visit and new companions to meet. The back reads as follows, "The archdemon has been slain, yet evil still plagues the land. A continuation of RPG awesomeness!

I was a little upset when having a game going in Origins, and losing it after importing my character into Awakening, but it has been well worth losing a few favorite partners. Maybe they will come back???? Anyway, the weapons are better and the use of tools is more involved, along with skills and powers.
It is worth every penny to upgrade with this expansion pack. Game on!

Good Expansion Pack

This is a great cap on the base game. If you plan to play DA2 or Inquisition, this helps fill in some of the background information and experience.

It is still a good game!

I bought this game to try, I love RPG, and this is a good one, only in the face and graphics of these personages has good detail.
Occurs a few bugs in the game, but nothing that can not be overcome.

An in-depth and satisfying addition to Origins

I bought this expansion right after finishing Dragon Age: Origins, and was very pleased with my purchase. The minor gameplay tweaks added even more variety, and the expansion even has the ability to be a stand-alone campaign. Continuing your Origins character with most of your equipment and money was satisfying, especially since it didn't make the game any easier or harder. So even after four years this game is still awesome. The RPG feel is of the same caliber as Skyrim even if the graphics aren't on par. Even if you aren't an dragon age fan Dragon age origins: Awakening is a must have for any RPG player. In fact until I tried origins I didn't even play Dragon age. Good, but Glitchy

The Game enhanced the experience of Dragon Age Origins, but it had glitches. One of the Glitches that annoyed me was the companion quest for one of your character. The quest is a random encounter but it does not trigger effectively. Therefore, I had to start the game multiple times.
