Warning: The cam locks for Alfa V6 24v don't fit!

Do not use these for your Alfa Romeo V6 24 valve engine! They don't fit! The cam lock C2 is not properly made so the cam gets the wrong position. When I started searching for a solution I discovered other Alfa mechanics who faced the same problem with these cam locks.

Great for Installation

It doesn't really remove the old bushing, needs to cut the metal lip away first. Makes installation very easy on the car.
The bearings doesn't hold up very well.

There are better ones on the market

The tool that is used to get the crankshaft in right position was not manufactured well. Obviously cutting (by laser?) the biggest hole in the center was not accurate enough. The hole was not round and also slightly in wrong place in respect to other holes. I had to make some filing to get the tool working properly.Lire l'avis complet...

Not applicable to my vehicle

The product is great and deserves appropriation. But its not applicable to all VW Passat B5.5 's.
If your vehicle is VW Passat 2.0 engine code AZM then its worthless. I did not even use it.

Great piece of tool

The tool worked perfectly to aid me with the replacement of the bushings on my Volkswagen MK4 Bora. With this tool very little effort is needed. As a DIY person I am contented with the tool.

Не качественный продукт.

Не плотно фиксирует шестерню и не правильно садится в пазы, есть люфт. Фиксатор распредвала тоже хилинький,резба в шарике сорвана штифт вываливается.

Cam lock for 2009 aveo

The fancy one costs 175 dollars, this worked fine, belt installed and all ok for 30 including shipping. If you aren't running a repair shop, why not use this inexpensive tool?

had to do my cambelt on ford ztech engine,this tool is a must, and at third of the price in sweden. now that my engine is done,i,m going to rent it out.
