One of the best boards Intel ever made!!!

I had an Intel D865PERL board die after ten plus years of service and the D875PBZ was the last and logical step up in the socket 478 category.

It allowed me to use everything from the previous board, especially the P4 3gigahertz northwood hyper-threading processor. 2.5 gigs of dual channel pc3200 400mhz memory is installed

There's an abundance of USB slots,(6), on the back panel which is great, if like me, you have a variety of USB peripherals. The model I have also has on-board audio which is a real plus if do not have a sound card, or if do have a sound card and it goes on the fritz.

It's installed in a Antec Three Hundred case with a 430 watt bottom mounted power supply and front panel connections for 2 USB ports, microphone and audio out.

The board has been rock solid. It's handling 2 SATA hard drives, 2 SATA optical drives (attached to an SATA pci add-in card), 1 USB optical drive attached to a back panel port,1 floppy/4 multi-media front panel card reader with a USB port, a wireless keyboard and mouse combo and an all-in-one wireless printer/scanner with a USB port and 2 media card slots.

Also, I have a USB 1 tera-byte external hard drive that I use extensively using one the front panel ports.

Tengo un PC viejo con esa placa madre que se quemó hace unas semanas. Como ya no se fabrica la busqué en ebay y la compré.
Llegó en perfecto estado, con todos sus accesorios y funcionando 100%.

Someone wanting to build a smokin computer inexpensively, this is the way to go,everything that they say in their add is correct. This is a Raid motherboard and running at Raid 0, ( two sata drives in tandem ) 4 gig of ram, 1 gig video card and 650 watt power supply and you are ggd to go.

The motherboard worked just great. Solved my problem. replaced one that had died. The only thing I missed was the onboaed sound.

Intel 875

Used this board to update a Socket 478 P4 processor. Easy setup, Somewhat confusing time to find the compatible audio driver. Board is very stable, Has 4 DIMMs and is currently running a 2.8 GHz P4 with 2 GB of 800 Mhz RAM in Dual channel. Only has 2 SATA ports. Clean, No Frills Layout.Lire l'avis complet...

I dislike the motherboard because it never worked,made every attempt to exchange and to refund my hard-earned money from the seller who also became very unprofessional and sarcastic.
