Very great product with very minor flaws.

It's a very good switch, I'm able to connect all the computers in my home without using several switches in areas. Will also allow me for future expansion in my home. The reason I gave this a 4/5 is because on the back of the unit where the fan vent is, the air slamming against the metal over the fan vent makes it very loud. It's not a big deal if it's being used in a dedicated server room where you won't be hearing it, but since it's in my home I can still hear it with the door to my room closed. As well, the 2 gigabit ports do require a special adapter, and can't just plug a cable into them.Lire l'avis complet...

Its a Cisco

This is a 48 port cisco switch, its the 3500 series, if my memory serves correctly 14.4 MPPS forward, 8.8 GBPS Backplane. has 2 gbic ports. if you buy one of these, make sure it has 12.1 or better firmware. This switch has a big fan, and puts out a lot of heat, if you have several of these like I do, get a cooler for your networking room.
