Different, challenging; added into a race game is picking up power to trigger explosions. The result can wreck other drivers, yourself, and the debris may remain on the track. With the explosions and sabotage, it is surprising Disney created a game based on 'dirty pool/billiards'. You will have to learn how to drift from the get go. While at first I thought it was a nuisance, as well as friends, but it becomes fun. You can pick up power by drifting, drafting or jumping the car. There are different events other than racing. I some events you will have to dodge exploding barrels, or helicopter missiles. Obviously it is not a realistic racing game: explosions, heavy drifting, avoiding missiles. But it is just that, 'a game'. It is interesting, fun, and overall I gave it good ratings.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Racing Game So Far

Split/Second has the most impressive destruction and explosions yet seen in a racing game. Forget Burnout and Motorstorm; from passenger jets exploding across a tarmac as you race under a wing, to detonating power plant cooling towers, to collapsing train tracks, Split/Second assaults your eyes as soon as you're off the starting line. There's so much going on during races that it's often difficult to navigate the game's courses, though the designers usually do a pretty good job of marking turns and plastering visual cues around the track.Lire l'avis complet...

A Forgotten Gem

Truly Amazing

One of the best racing games since the days of Burn Out. Two player split screen fun for you and a buddy, Very fast, cool cars and extremely challenging. The power play triggers are spectacular to watch and satisfying to execute.

A hiden gem of a racing arcade game.

This game was actually amazing. Its like if need for speed and the burnout games had a baby. Lots of great arcade racing and action with crazy destruction and environmental hazards and whole level changes that can occur during a race. This is a highly recommended game from this gen of games. addicting game and alot of fun! split screen racing makes for a good game for guests. i love the graphics, physics, and the gameplay, both single and multiplayer. it seems like there could have been a bigger variety in tracks, but the destruction more than makes up for them. the soundtrack also can get old. the actual sound is excellent however. great to crank up the surround sound!Lire l'avis complet...

Great game

I had this game on another console but switched to the ps3 and had to get it again. Such a high intensity racing game. I love it.

Awesome racing game, the power plays make it 10/10

I have loved this game since I was a kid. Severely underrated game. Very competent arcade racer. Love the way they incorporated the power plays. Love to relive my childhood.

Best Racing Game on PS3

I played all the racing games and this one by far was the best. The graphics and fun level are superb. Only 1 bad part was that i got to a point where i couldnt unlock the rest of the game.. They expect you to make 1st place on every race.. to open all tracks.. well I dont got the patients for that. Otherwise best game better than NFS...Lire l'avis complet...
