Amazing Special Effects, Average Story, Weak Characters (Sorry George)

Often disregarded due to its stark and lifeless appearance when compared to it's groundbreaking and legendary counterpart, this series is a monumental leap forward for visual effects. Much Like Jurrasic Park's milestone status in the CGI industry, Episode 1 should likewise be heralded for its ambition and execution. Yes, the story, in my oppinion, isn't as engrossing, and the characters are drab and two dimmensional in comparrison, but then again, nothing could've possibly lived up to Star Wars fan's rabid fan base's expectations. This is a great set.

The item was packaged well and came sooner than expected. I love that the original trilogy was in its original form. It’s great to have all 6 movies in one set. I am very pleased with this product.

Down thru the years Ive seen the entire set of movies. I wanted my 10 year old grand son to be able to see them all as well since he is a new fan of star wars. He had previously seen the original star wars----but was absolutely thrilled to have the entire set (which he didn't know existed).
