Polk Audio DB6500 Component Speakers

I decided to purchase this component set to replace my factory 6 1/2" speakers in my Hyundai Elantra. My subwoofer was much louder than my stock speakers, som it was time to upgrade. I chose Polk Audio because of their reputation for clarity, sensitivity (did not want to amp my door speakers, just use aftermarket deck) and high level of performance. I also chose this set because they are marine certified (most car doors let moisture through, which can damage speakers). I was skeptical at first, the woofer seemed to be made of a paper-like material (DB6501 are made of a different material), however, after installed, they definatly outperformed my stock speakers. I had Circuit-City install them, and it took about 3 hours. The only other experience i have with aftermarket speakers are the JVC speakers i have in my rear deck, and these outperform those hands down. My only complaint is that mid-bass is not quite as deep as I would like it, but it may be because my speakers are not amped. Overall, I would recommend Polk Audio to anyone thinking about upgrading their factory speakers, and I will purchase a second set for my rear deck in the near future.Lire l'avis complet...
