Great equipment but dim display
This is a good straightforward piece of equipment.
The audio can be connected to anything via XLR or RCA jacks and there is a handy headphone jack and volume control on the front. Connecting the FM up to an external (outdoor) antenna, there was good reception and selectivity on FM. A plus would have been to make the tuning in 10 increments (for the US) rather than 5.
The biggest flaw is the display is dim and there is no way to adjust the display contrast and it is not lit. You can't see it if you're looking at it at an angle.
Also the remote only works when pointed directly at the unit (and with a fresh battery).
Also, programming the pre-set stations is complex and archaic. Other than these flaws, for the money, if you're only listening to a few stations, it was a great purchase for me.Lire l'avis complet...

very bright audio and the RDS display is useless
I bought this to replace an earlier version of the ROLLS tuner which developed 60hz hum (like they all eventually do)
I was pleased to see that it had RDS, which meant it will tell me the name of the station, but other data does not display for any longer than a second.
The audio is also very bright. too much high end in the output which means it cannot be used as any kind of reference for engineering or programming.Lire l'avis complet...
