Classic Tiger
This Tiger I was commanded by a German tank ace while he served on the Eastern Front in 1944 with the 101st SS. The Tiger was a classic model and had a 88 mm L/56 gun. This tank served in Operation Barbarossa and then in Operation Citadel before transferring to the Western Front and facing the Allies at the Normandy landing. This tank even has kill rings on the barrel to signify its effectiveness in combat. The commander met his end in the fighting following D-Day and there are disputes regarding how his tank was knocked out. The Tiger I was a weapon of awesome capability, especially in the command of such an experienced combat leader like Michael W. However, it had many limitations including mechanical reliability, operational radius, weight issues and the need for large amounts of fuel, which was in very short supply for the German forces throughout the war. A classic must-own of the Dragon Armor 1:72 genre.Lire l'avis complet...
