Exellent Guitar Effects Pedal Power Supply

The Boss PSA-120T is a rugged Class 2 transformer with a regulated 9vdc output... 9.57v approx :) This supply powers a TS-9 and FL-9. The other 4 pedals on my board require 12vdc unregulated supplies. These ACA Class 2 transformers provide maximum isolation from noise, RFI, and ground loops.

The Boss PSA-120T maintains a steady 9.5 vdc whether the effects are active or off. High frequency oscillations/harmonics from an SMPS distorting the audio signal have been eliminated.

My 120T was built in '04 and still works fine. Vintage effects enjoy having reliable transformer-coupled DC power with significant AC ripple :) '71 Twin Reverb doesn't complain either... and, I dig the TONE!Lire l'avis complet...

Avoid the old original power supply’s

The old boss power supplies apparently all have wiring that becomes brittle with age. I have tried three of these at all have the same issue with the wiring shorting out. I bought a new one on eBay that is not the original boss which is no longer made and it works fine. I recommend you not buy an old one goodLire l'avis complet...

The boss 9 volt

This was the answer to a long time problem! I am completely happy and so glad I was lucky enough to find this exact boss 9 volt for my boss blues driver!!

BOss PSA120 Power adaptor

Nothing beats the original 80's japan made BOSS products.. The new adapters are short lived garbage.

PSA- good for all Boss 9 volt pedals

Works great for all Boss pedals without hum or buzzing. All wall warts should have heavier wire, the PSA is a bit heavier, it seems.
The transformer weight is heavier too, not so light so it doesn’t feel cheap. Lire l'avis complet...
