good kids game but not as good as the first

If you played the first game, you'll probably want to buy this one because it was good easy fun for a young kids and good tv show. The Alien Force tv show is good but this game lost something. It's based on the same arcade adventure with repetitive punches and simple platform jumping. Use the skills of the available aliens to get past puzzles.

What I don't think I like about this game are two factors that annoy me through the whole game. I haven't completed the game with my son yet so I think I don't mind them as much. First this game seems to be a lot darker in colors. It's sort of hard to make out certain screens and which character are you when playing multiplayer. I'm use to the previous game where there were a lot more outdoor scenes and the view of the players were a little closer. Second is the repetitive factor. Using one or two buttons to pound the enemy is one thing that is expected in a kid game. I don't like how you enter one screen and fight 10-20 guys that just appear in waves. Then move to the next screen and fight 10-20 more guys, then the next screen and repeat. I just don't like games where you can't tell if you are almost done because the just appear out of no where when you beat the last wave.

Overall, I rated the game a 3 out of 5. It's easy for a young kid and entertaining to them. Parents or a second player can jump in any time and help out. Simple controls, based on a popular tv show and they do a good job on the transition. I would have given it a 4 out of 5, except for the poorer graphics than the last game and the over-repetitive fight scenes.

Ben 5

Well this was for my daughter who is 6 but I love my share of games too.
My kids like the game but some areas are just frustrating to them and even to me. In one area of the game it has you jump from stump to another, what makes it frustrating is that the camera is not user controlled so its more difficult to decipher the angles and distances. In some areas it took 6 or more tries to get it. Now the reason why I labeled this Ben 5 is that there are only 5 aliens you can play with(note only 2 are available from the beginning later you unlock one by one). Well on a positive note they have cool attacks and are easy to execute too. Since I do like the cartoon I wish they would have added some animation of when Ben changes into an alien form. In Co-op mode both players are Ben or Kevin depending who ever the game gives you for that stage. I hope in future release they fix the camera, and more aliens to choose from and that they make it that in co-op mode one player could be Ben and another could be Kevin or Gwen.Lire l'avis complet...

good game

niceIf you've been clamoring for a brand-new Zelda adventure that fits in your pocket, you can stop making a fuss now. Link's newest portable appearance, The Minish Cap, is here, and it executes the classic overhead Zelda formula with great precision and delightful whimsy. The basic gameplay is fundamentally identical to that of past games in the series, but the Zelda model is so entertaining, you can hardly call that a negative. The game is a little on the short side if you just plow through the main dungeon progression, but there's a vast array of optional side quests to undertake, and Nintendo and Capcom have also done a great job of coming up with new items and abilities for Link that fit right in with the standard Zelda structure.Lire l'avis complet...

Dissapointing!!

I liked Ben 10 Alien force becuase is has better quality images than "Ben 10:Protector of the Earth", which is our favorite at home. The new Alien force also had overall nice controls but it is lacking guidance and is indeed very complex to play. My son and I finished "Protector of the Earth" several times but we both got blocked in the second level of "Alien Force" and could not move forward from there. Documentation did not include any help that could be referred to. I regret buying this game actually as instead of being fun to play turned out to be dissapointing.Lire l'avis complet...

Good game

Good. A lot like the first Ben 10 game but with different characters and an all new story line. The drop in drop out feature really makes it easy for adults to join in.

BEN 10: ALIEN FORCE (WII)

MY 6 YR OLD SON IS VERY INTO BEN 10 SO WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE THIS GAME FOR HIM. HE LOVES THE CHARACTERS AND THE POWERS THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE FOR EACH ONE. HE CAUGHT ON VERY QUICKLY AS TO HOW TO PLAY. THERE ARE ALOT OF DIFFERENT MOVES/POWERS THAT REQUIRE YOU TO PUSH LOTS OF BUTTONS AT ONCE. HE SEEMS TO HAVE MASTERED THEM. IT IS VERY ENTERTAINING TO WATCH THE KIDS PLAY. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR THE KIDS, AND EVEN MY HUBBY PLAYS WITH THEM. I AM GLAD THAT WE BOUGHT THIS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!Lire l'avis complet...

A HUGE hit with my 7 year old!

My son is fairly new at the Wii and this was one of the first games I've gotten him. He loves Ben 10 so I didn't think I could go wrong. He picked right up on it and had a little help from my 8 year old nephew. Together, they have mastered it and conquored all there is to conquor! I'd recommend it for a younger child as I know mine has received much enjoyment from it!Lire l'avis complet...

Good Game

My kids really love this game and it keeps them busy and thinking. I wish it were a little more active, it plays more like an old style video game, using just the remote buttons and not player activity, but overall, it was a good investment and it actually makes them do some problem solving.Lire l'avis complet...

Ben 10 Alien Force WII

My grandson requested it. The price was right, he earned the money for it. He is 6. It wasn't too easy like some games are so it was just enough of a challenge to keep him interested.

Ben 10

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT IF YOU HAVE A SON THAT IS INTO BEN 10, THEN THIS IS A GAME FOR HIM. MY SON PLAYED THE FIRST ONE AND WAS BORED WITH IT CAUSE HE BEAT IT TOO QUICKLY, SO I WAS HESITANT ON THIS ONE. BUT HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, ITS NOT AS EASY TO BEAT LIKE THE FIRST ONE (PROTECTOR OF EARTH) BUT GREAT GAME, JUST A LIL PRICEY, BUT HEY AREN'T ALL NEW WII GAMES PRICEY!!Lire l'avis complet...
