Costa Del Mar! No need to say anymore....

Excellent glasses! This is my 5th pair, 2 with polycarbonate lenses & 3 with glass lenses.
The 580 glass lenses in blue mirror are my favorite, it's like looking through HD making everything look a whole lot clearer and colorful. The blue polycarbonate lenses are not as HD as the glass lenses but are still much clearer than my Ocean Waves & Rayban sunglasses. I also have a pair of gray polycarbonate & green 580 glass lenses. The pride of the sunglass fleet are the Ocean Waves, 7 layers of glass and those lenses are gold in color and have a gold layer also, they are 36 years old and don't have a scratch on them!
I will use them to compare toughness & reliability against the Costa's, and the Costa's are way more comfortable then the rest, especially the polycarbonate lenses with the poly frames.....they are so lightweight you don't even know they are on your face!
I love my Costa Del Mar glasses, I only wish they made more styles in the extra large frames as I have a large Mellon of a head......keep up the good work all.

It's like they are custom made

These are my second pair of Costa Cayans after my previous pair were stolen. I'd buy again in a heartbeat and will keep an eye on prices to potentially get a second pair in a different color. The amber lenses take the bite out of the sun and are perfect for driving. The polarized lenses really do sharpen everything you look at, which is especially useful in the rain. Yes, I'll wear the amber lenses while driving in the rain during the day. They truly help. The Costas are super light and flexible. I've worn them inside a full face helmet while racing at Watkins Glen and the frames flexed their way between my ears and emerged as good as new. I owned Maui Jims in the past and these are better. In fact, I could've gotten my old pair of Maui Jims fixed for $60 (for a $300 retail set) and opted instead to get these Costas for $130. The pair of Costas I just purchased are the mirror blue lens. I like the way they look on me better, but they do darken better than the amber lenses. I'm not sure I could get away with driving in the rain with these blue mirror lenses as well as I did the ambers. I have a large head and these fit like they were custom made for my head. My Maui Jims were smaller in comparison. I love my Ray Bans, but they are HEAVY compared to these Costas. I couldn't drive longer than an hour without a dent in my nose from the Ray Bans.Lire l'avis complet...

Missing pieces

I like the sunglasses and they are what I was looking for everything except the missing C on one side. I have had them on my face for about 5 seconds and took them off put them back in the case. Later was looking them over and that's when I noticed one of the symbols on the side was gone. I looked in the case the box and the shipping box and it is no where too be found. Had to have been missing before they where shipped. I'd rather not have a pair of brand new glasses with pieces missing from them.
