This tank made my whistle blow!

Yes,,, I have a real live Train Whistle I pick up on Ebay,,, elsewhere! This tank I recently purchased has a 3/8" opening on it that allows enough air to bring my whistle to life,,, and "BOY" was it LOUD... I even made it sound off all the way to the second toot frequency range too... "Ear splitting!" I need to add a regulator next... This higher level toot travel up and down the valley here according to one of my nearby neighbors... And,,, this tank has a lot of opening on it for other items, like a blow off valve, and a pressure meter and another smaller whistle i have... I put plugs into the various openings left over to seal off the tank...
So this tanks statement is confirm by me to work with my full scale whistle, and this particular whistle I have came from a Heisler locomotive... Cool! I believe this because I have a locomotive picture that helps me prove this belief... "It is a photographic match!"

You definitely don't want to display this

Thankfully I bought this to mount under my vehicle thus the interest in a Stainless tank, I'm sure it'll do the job but it sure ain't pretty, the crude welds and slightly oversized end caps and not quite cylindrical (more ovoid) shape of body, not to mention the askew brackets would make this out of the question if one wanted to mount in the trunk to show.Lire l'avis complet...

My personal opinion

Everything about the tank is great, I just wish it had a tank on top so it can be mounted under truck bed as designed with a port for a cable pull water drain valve.
