Pretty fun game

The graphics, for the time period are pretty good, of course nothing too detailed like nowadays, but they're not the worst thing in the world. The water is the only thing that looks wonky.
The gameplay is pretty addicting, in which you have to explore an open area and find Minicons and extras as well as fighting Decepticons. You can adapt your arsenal and change the weapons you use which is pretty cool. I spent a couple hours just walking around, gathering stuff, and killing decepticons. And did I mention that you can choose the autobot you play as which is just the best and each has their own stats. However; it's not completely flawless, the running is kinda clunky, and the vehicles can be hard to control.
I'd still say it's pretty good deal for the price.Lire l'avis complet...

Transformers (PlayStation 2)

Over all, a good game. I found the levels challenging, the combat simple, the controls good, and the visuals good. The only thing that didn't make the game great is that it isn't Generation 1, and there are only 3 Transformers that you can play as. As a matter of opinion, I would have liked to play as more Transformers, especially from the Generation 1 series.Lire l'avis complet...

If you love Transformers, BUY IT!!!

This is one of the best games to ever hit PS2. If you are a Transformers fan then this is definitely a game for you. Optiums, Red Alert, and Hot Shot are the 3 characters you can play as. You can transform at the touch of a button as well as upgrade your weaponry several times by collecting mini cons in each level. The CG is very nicely done, and the enviroments are very lifelike considering this game is for PS2. Very few glitchy spots and the frames run very consistantly. Tons of fun, for not a lot of dough, buy it!!!

I have been playing it little by little and it is great and I love it. I always loved Transformer armada and that what basically is. So yeah thank you for the great game.

Transformers for PS2

What I liked about this game was the joy of transforming. It truly was a unique experience to control something I thought I would only get to marvel at in the theatres. Other than that, this game was boring. Why? Well for one the plot pretty much follows the movie which I have seen enough to know that I don't want to merely recreate it in a game. Also, the sub challenges for me were either too easy or too difficult. To be honest I didn't even finish the game because Beyond Good and Evil (see my Review) arrived in the mail, and I immediately stopped playing Transformers to play that game.Lire l'avis complet...

Its not a bad game kind of upset with playing only 3 of the good transformers i kind of wanted the option to play as a bad guy but oh well, but any who, it is the kind of game that kids might get bored of real quick i know i did. the graphics are nice and clean and free flowing around you, the action is not that bad its really predictable at times. the control buttons are tuff but yet easy to learn after 2 minutes in to the game. This is a fine game to add to your collection lets see a part 2 with some new character options and you got me in on a sale ......i rate it ***(3) starsLire l'avis complet...

Awesome Transformers game

I bought this game for my son's 7th birthday. He loves Transformers and video games. You can not find this game in any stores...believe me, I tried. My son and husband loves this game and what they love most about it is when you can transform the Transformers into the robot into the car (vice versa) because the graphics are awesome! Plus they like the story plot and time limit the game gives you. They dislike the fact that you can not choose your own player when you start the game; you have to play with who they give you.
