Well Built and Simple to Use
I had over 3000 slides to convert to digital. This machine was exactly what I needed. The resolution is far superior to that of a "Copier Scanner". It is fast, takes about 2 to 3 seconds to scan the slide. There is no tray to load and unload. You simply feed the slides thru. NOTE: Most slides are rectangular in shape. Always feed the slide length wise or you will cut off part of the image. You can always rotate the image after it has been uploaded to your computer. Many of my slides are over 40 years old, some had darkened with age. I was able to lighten them using the Wolverine. One slide in particular it was so dark you could not recognize facial features. The Wolverine was able to lighten the image to the point where you can see our faces. I would scan a dark slide using 3 or 4 settings. Then when they were uploaded on my computer I was better able to edit them. The same procedure can be used to darken the image. Old flash cameras often would wash out the foreground. I was able to darken them using the Wolverine. I bought an 8 gig memory card for the unit and can easily scan 600 to 800 slides at a time before uploading to my computer. The function keys on the Wolverine are easy to use and direct. I am almost finished scanning my slides, soon it will be on to the thousands of negatives I have stored in boxes. I am absolutely thrilled with this product and have recommended to family and friends.

Very Easy to Use
This product is very easy to use and I felt like a pro in minutes.
From Super 8, to 35mm to 110 film and slides, all were on my computer in minutes.
Focal window is about 42mmX42mm max. Larger film formats will not fit in the focal window. I scanned these larger formats in different windows, then did some digital Cut-n-paste splicing. Took some effort but well worth the extra time.
I really enjoy bringing these old negatives to life again, and sharing with family or friends.Lire l'avis complet...

Drawbacks
The results w/ color negative film seem good enough.
Only the screen has very bad resolution and colors - you have to scan the results to the SD-card and transfer them to the computer before you´re able to judge whether or not you were successful.
Which is the other major drawback - you can´t work "online" w/ your computer.
You have to forget about the settings in the scanner and do all the editing in Photoshop.
The 35 mm film slot is narrow, the film cannot be pushed in as intended, it works better backwards....
The slide slot is narrow also, you need to really push to work it.
The 16 mm slot I don´t know about.
And why the horrible colour?Lire l'avis complet...

Simple and effective
The unit functions as it should. The buttons are not intuitive enough for me (I need really clear instructions). The set up took a bit to figure out.
Very happy with the results though!!!!!
We've got this set up with Photoshop and have only processed slides at this point but so much fun seeing memories we haven't seen in AGES.
The unit was a lot smaller than we anticipated, although I'm sure they had that in the description somewhere. You almost need a magnifying glass to really see what's on the screen, but since we are just uploading to Photoshop it really isn't an issue.Lire l'avis complet...

Good product
The quality of the picture you get from scans is dependent on the quality and composition of the slide it is taken from. I found life's with a number of people in them do not convert nearly as well as slides with one or two people in them. The colors are pretty good.Lire l'avis complet...

Just what you need
Going through old negatives can be so hard sometimes and with this it was a snap. I did over 200 35 mm shots in one afternoon and saving them and color correcting in photoshop later was a breeze! very very satisfied. The 8mm movies are a lot of work but just being able to view them and get stills or see if they are worth paying to have converted at $25.00 a piece sometime more also makes this purchase very worth while!

Easy to use......Poor image quality!
Its easy enough to set up and use, but upon running professionally shot 35mm slides and negatives through it the image you get back is terrible, images are horribly grainy and all the colors are way out of whack. all are 35 mm photo's and slides have been stored in environment safe storage and running them through a local camera store they all came out great, then tried to run them again through this Wolverine scanner and the images returned from it were not good.Lire l'avis complet...

A great way to unlock hidden treasure.
The discovery of slides showing my parents before they had kids were so special. The Wolverine's editing functions are pretty basic but they allowed me to alter some of the older slides enough that I could work with the pictures on my computer's more sophisiticated editing software.Lire l'avis complet...

Nice and cheap, good for the money
I expected to have to transfer the SD images to my computer, but actually the thing plugs in via USB and one can import directly to my MacBook Air with the latest OS.

Wolverine F2D
I have only used the 35mm slide conversion which has been excellent. It takes a little time to arrange the slide but the actual conversion takes only a couple of seconds. Good product.
