Works below freezing, waterproof (not submersable), Derate to 4 Amps and -25C (-15 F) using 115v power.

High marks for quality of build. Some gotcha's from the spec sheet:

1. Provides only 4 Amps at 115v. Must power from 230v to get 5 Amps.

2. Ambient temperature operation between -40 and -25C (-40 F to -13 F) must be powered from 230V (not 115V).

3. Dimming resistance: 6K (10% dim) to 100K (100% full bright). Can hook multiple unit resistance sense leads in parallel by dividing the resistance value by the number of units. (e.g. 3 units range is 2K to 33.3K.) PWM frequency is 1.48KHz, with a 6v overshoot decaying in 4 usec.

4. For 115v, Power Factor almost 1 for load = 30%. For 230v, PF increases linearly from .86 @ 30% load to .99 @ 100% load.

5. For 115v, 89% efficient for load = 50%. for 230v, 4% dip in curve at 30% load; 88% @ 50% load, then linearly to 90% at 90%.Lire l'avis complet...
