Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

Quake Wars isn't the best online multiplayer game, but it's far from the worst. I found this game to be quite similar to the Star Wars Battlefront series, in that there are two teams, in this case the Global Defensive Forces and the Strogg, and one side must complete certain objectives in a certain amount of time in order to win, while the other team attempts to stop them. The objectives are dependent on certain classes of characters, which makes it all the more difficult to claim victory. Each class fulfills different roles vital to team success, and they all come with different weapons and items. The music gets the job done and the graphics, while not exactly up to par with other games, are not terrible; this game is best played with the greatest number of people, although you can practice with bots in the campaign.Lire l'avis complet...

There is a few things to be aware of...
A problem with the PS interface and PS and QW don't get along so well.
every time you touch the PS button it can freeze, so DON'T TOUCH THE PS BUTTON WHILE ONLINE!
There is also a problem with the internet connection, it does lag out for no reason, but you can just come back and you get all your points back, so I'm sure they were aware of that problem and its livable.
But what do I know, Im only ranked in the top 20 on the game, stankpeaches.

Quake Wars: Don't Waste Your Money

I bought this game because my husband and I love to play a good first person shooter together. The back of the box says 1-16 players and stresses the multiplayer capabilities. So I bought this game only to discover that LOCAL multiplayer (e.i. playing with someone else on the same console) is not offered. I actually called Activision to ask them why they would list more than 1 player if more than 1 player is not an option. They told me its because the game supports more than one AI, or non human player. The game is designed for 1 human player, and up to 15 bots. Who ever looked at a game that said it was designed for more than one player and wondered if they meant human beings? Its very upsetting. I tried to sell the game at my local Game Stop and the guy said to me "Um, I don't know if you've played the game or not but it really sucks. The most we can offer you is $4." ETQW is an awesome game!!

Enemy Territory Quake Wars is a fast action first person shooter with real-time strategy in a multi-player environment. Communicate real time with voice chat and coordinate with your teammates. Defeat the enemy and complete objectives in the game for the win. Play on the PlayStation Network for lightning fast game play against other players. I have played many FPS games in my time, but I find that this is the most addicting, even better than most new games. This game is about 3 years old but never gets old. took a little while to get used to the controls but other than that a pretty good first person shooter game.. wish u could do multiplayer without having to go online tho

Good but nowhere near great.

I like to have more weapons choices and respawn time is really slow.The enemy is complicated even on easy,however I still enjoyed playing and found it hard to stop and just walk away.

Best Team Based FPS in a Long Time.

This was overall a good game. I went in expecting not much at all, but came out with pleasantly surprised. Overall 5/5. It plays a bit like Wolfenstein ET with more features and better graphics.
