this is the best monitor I've ever had, and I highly recommend it!
I opened this monitor, and right out of the box it was amazing! I plugged ti up and got everything runnings, and it's so much clearer than any other monitor I have had! I've only had monitors before with the resolution of 1024 x 768, and this monitor is 1440 x 900. It's higher resolution, and more items can fit on one screen! I also love that it has a built in speaker, an ipod dock, usb ports, and sd card slots. Also, the dock even works with my iPhone 4s! It's very easy to use this monitor and the resolution is wonderful! I pretty much like everything about this monitor, except 1st I have an otterbox on my iPhone, and the iPhone wont fit in the dock so I either have to take the case off, use a dock extender, or just not use it period. 2nd, I dont like the flash drives are upside down (like when I have a flash drive, I usually like the light facing up, but these ports are upside down. 3rd, it took a while for me to hook it up to my desktop and perform dual split (where you have 2 monitors to one computer), but it was very simple to just use one monitor though, but it might be because my graphics card is not the best availableLire l'avis complet...
Have loved Viewsonic since my first 15 CRT. They are rock solid
bought this unit used to replace defective screen (cat knocked off desk and screen cracked) in same model. Not only was unit in great shape now have lots of spare parts. The last VX1945wm lasted almost 6 years expect this one to last for at least 3 but with all the spare parts who knows. The only flaw or issue people have is with the Caps. Buy Jap solid caps for around 10 to 15 USD and replace them yourself and monitor should last a lifetime barring any feline accidents...heheheheLire l'avis complet...
Excellent refurbed ViewSonic monitor
I was a little leary to buy a refurbed monitor. I priced new and used monitors, but decided to take my chance with this one. I am very glad that I did. I have had no problems what-so-ever. Clean, clear images, good audio....VERY NICE MONITOR. I love the IPOD docking station. I can charge and play my IPOD directly from my monitor.
I also have good words to say about the company I purchased it from. I did not know how to set it up at first. I called the company, and they talked me through it step-by-step. A+ rating.Lire l'avis complet...

I've had my monitor for two months and I couldn t be happier. The picture quality is excellent. I find the ipod docking station nice and all the accessory connectors being build in extremely convenient. I bought this model for the build in ipod station. If you need a 19" monitor that's really nice, get this one!
Bought this as an upgrade and it more than fit the bill. It does require two 3.5 mm stereo audio cables, with one being a 2in1. Hook up all cables according to the downloadable user guide, under 'desktop monitors'/'discontinued products' from their homepage. Then enjoy the built-in 2.1 audio(that's right, it has a sub in the base unit w/vlume control), the 8in1 media card reader, microphone, headphone jack,and 4 USB 2.0 ports(3 front/1 rear) and an Ipod dock. All packaged under the 19" 16x10 WS display with 1440x900 resolution. The only way it could be better is to be bigger with higher resolution. Buy It!Lire l'avis complet...

Was working properly only two weeks. To bad. After two weeks shows white line horizontal on the screen. The line was 3" wide, 35% from the entire screen.
