The UK version is FAR superior than the US version!

Mr Driller Drill Spirits is a great puzzle game only on the DS.

Gameplay is simple, players choose from a selection of characters (each with their pros and cons).
You have to drill down through a series of coloured blocks whilst avoiding being crushed by them as they fall.
This is not the kind of puzzle game that you can take time with. You need to keep your air supply filled up by finding air capsules. This forces you to keep drilling further downwards creating more falling blocks to avoid.

Each level in Mission Driller Mode has a set depth you need to drill to in order to finish the level and unlock additional characters.

If you decide to get this game, I urge you to buy the Japanese or UK version NOT the US/NTSC version.
The Japanese and UK versions have an extra game mode called Dristone Driller Mode and an Extra special character to unlock - USAGI the rabbit.
Both of these are not in the US version of the game.

If you want this game with the terrible voice acting then get the US or UK versions, otherwise get the Japanese version for the original voice acting.

Overall, It was Great.

I wanted to buy this game because, as a kid, this was one of my first games. I really enjoyed it, but I gave it away. A few years later [now] I felt I wanted to play the game again, and decided to use an easy medium with which to get it, since it wasn't found in any stores near me.

The whole purchase was my first and I expected a bit More than what I got, so I was a bit disappointed, but no offense to the seller. I mean, this is where I learned to READ DESCRIPTIONS BEFORE I BUY. But in the end, I don't regret my purchase. I very much enjoy it and now that urge to play Drill Spirits again has ceased, but I'm keeping the game this time.Lire l'avis complet...

Mr. Driller Spirits DS

I got this game for my Birthday. This game brought out the little boy they say is inside of every man. I was a fellow driller, rushing to find fresh air in an air capsules. I faced the challenges of falling blocks in a rainbow of colors. My mind was rushing like a computer to solve the puzzles. My heart was beating as if it was a time bomb about to go off as I felt panic building as time was running out. The best part is I'm working under ground without any risk or any danger.
I'm still on a mission to try and win this game! This game is fun!

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD SON, AND HE REALLY LIKES IT! ALSO, IT'S GOOD FOR ALL AGES AND GIRLS OR BOYS! MY 6YR OLD BORROWS IT, AS DOES MY DAUGHTER! EVEN MY 15YR OLD LIKES IT. Mr. Driller... I got another one.

When I first bought this game about a year ago, I could not stop playing it. At first, it was pretty challenging and hard, but then you naturally get faster and better. Excellent for a quick handheld game

Handheld games are supposed to be like this one. Quick to learn, pickup, play, and shut off. Addictive and fun, you can find this pretty cheap now, one of the top 20 DS games I've played.

Great little game

This game is a great little passtime, i recomend it to anyone. it is fun and the levels can be quite challenging, if you are looking for something to take on a trip or to just pass some time, buy it.
