Well, it was so epic that it took me two days to finish watching. I was surprised to discover Julie Christy continuing her acting career, and still dramatically beautiful as a "mom."

I absolutely love this movie. I was lucky enough to be able to see this when it was in theaters, and it was amazing on a large screen. I have since then also purchased the movie for my collection, it's just a must have.

This movie is about the classic Greek legend of Achilles. It tells the story of the fight between the Trojans and Spartans that starts over just one woman, Helen the Queen of Sparta. Paris, one of the princes of Troy, takes Helen along with him back to Troy. This infuriates King Menelaus, and his brother Agamemnon convinces him to go to war with Troy and kill Helen. They recruite Achilles, who is the best warrior in Greece. Achilles agrees because he wants the fame that will come out of it, he wants to be known throughout history as a hero. There are a few duals, as well as some bloody fights in this war. There is a fight for love between Paris and Menelaus. There is also a fight between Hector and Achilles. The action in this movie is incredibly done. Very impressive.

The cast is amazing as well, it includes: Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Brad Pitt, Sean Bean, Peter O'Toole, and Brendan Gleeson.Lire l'avis complet...

Absolutely one of my favorites. Brad Pitt plays an excellent Achilles. Super effects!!!

It is called Troy and I don't know if Troy ever existed or not but a great story.

It played perfectly and that is not always the case so I am very happy with it. It is a great movie. I highly recommend it.

This is a very good movie and I enjoy watching it. The subject of Troy and that time period are a favorite of mine.

Excellent movie

I enjoyed this movie due to it portraying the epic tale of Greece and Troy. It was fairly well done. The R rating was probably due to the gore...spears going through heads, the amount of blood, etc.. There were a couple of buttock scenes. One showing Brad Pitt and another showing the queen of Sparta's back side.

There were many references to "The gods". One verse almost had it right. "Honor the gods, love your woman, fight for your country."

This movie seemed to keep a good pace, and with Pitt, O'Toole, and Bloom it played out well.Lire l'avis complet...
